ASSA Twin Combi

The ASSA Twin Combi is easily one of my favourite pieces in my collection. It’s not just a lock—it’s a whole system packed into a tiny cylinder. This thing uses both standard pin tumblers and a sidebar mechanism, making it stupidly hard to pick (not that I do that—I collect, not pick). What really gets me is the design of the key: two separate bitting layers, one on the edge and one flat on the side, both doing their own thing. It’s just… smart. You can tell ASSA didn’t mess about when they built this. Proper high-security stuff. I love how rugged the keyway looks too—feels like it’s got attitude. This one’s definitely staying in the collection.
