About the event
Halloween @ The Post Office takes place on Friday, 31st October 2025 4pm — early hours -, right inside Portsmouth’s old Post Office building. Over the past few months, it’s become a bit of a regular hangout spot for me — a quiet place to chill, explore, and escape the noise of the city. I’ve gotten to know the layout better than anyone, from the hidden corners to the upper floors that most people never see.
A lot of others who’ve come by have said the same thing: this place has the perfect vibe for a Halloween night. After hearing it suggested over and over, it only made sense to make it happen — a relaxed evening surrounded by good people, music, and that unmistakable eerie atmosphere that only the Post Office can give off.
Event Rules
The first rule of the party is we do not talk about the party
The second rule of the party is that we don’t talk about the party
Stay together: Most of the building will be locked off to prevent wandering, so always ask Solace, the main host and key keeper. before going anywhere.
Follow instructions: If security shows up, we need to get everyone out quickly and safely.
Respect the building: No smashing, breaking, or vandalising anything.
Keep it chill: Try not to over-indulge or get sick.
No problems or fights: Be respectful and friendly to everyone. or you will be kicked out.
No stealing: Please leave other peoples belongings alone – we will have a lockable bag room to use

Isnt it ilegal?
No, it’s not. We’re keeping the event private, staying respectful of the building, and making sure no laws are broken. The Post Office is mostly empty now – just follow the rules and we will be fine !
What do we do if security shows up?
Stay calm and follow the instructions. The hosts will get everyone out quickly and safely.
Do i need to bring anything?
It’s preferred if you bring drinks, snacks, or anything else to help contribute to the Halloween vibes! Just make sure it’s safe, shareable, and won’t cause problems or damage the building. If you’re unsure about something, check with Solace first so everything stays chill and fun for everyone.
